Currently, we are looking for hands-on C++ Developers to join our growing R&D and Product Engineering team. The candidate will work in a talented team to build OPSWAT's famous MetaDefender product as world's advanced next generation cyber security platforms.

What You Will Be Doing:

Design, develop, implement and test OPSWAT MetaDefender product using C++ in Windows and/ or Linux environment.
Provide inputs for documentation of new or existing programs.
Partner with Scrum team members on delivering Sprint commitments.
Collaborate with Product Management on product requirements.
Participate in receiving and giving peer code reviews.

What We Need from You:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related.

Software testing with a good QA mindset

The Position

As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we’re expanding our R&D footprint in Hungary — and we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT).

MetaDefender Secure MFT empowers enterprises to securely transfer sensitive files across systems, networks, and borders. Trusted by governments and global organizations, we are at the heart of secure data movement — and we’re expanding its future in Veszprém.

You’ll take part in designing and building the frontend interface of our secure file transfer platform, working closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and security experts. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape the user experience and help grow our engineering presence in Hungary. As part of our cybersecurity-focused company, you will be developing cutting-edge software solutions that protect critical infrastructure from ever-evolving cyber threats. Your work will make a real impact—defending the digital front lines of industries, governments, and essential systems around the world.

What You Will be Doing

Design and implement interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces, enabling users to visualize key metrics, audit logs, and system activity within the cybersecurity platform
Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces for our cybersecurity software products using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (mostly Angular)
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate user requirements and design concepts into functional frontend components and features
Lead early frontend architecture and technology stack decisions (e.g., framework, component architecture, state management)
Define the development workflow, including code structure, testing strategy, and CI/CD integration for frontend delivery
Implement frontend best practices, including modular code architecture, code reusability, performance optimization, and adherence to accessibility standards 
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs, services, and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
Take ownership of key UI components and application flows, for example:
- Develop dashboards and activity views for admins
- Implement RBAC and approval workflows in the frontend
- Integrate REST APIs and improve overall UX
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members

What We Need from You 

At least 5 years of frontend development experience 
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors (less/sass/scss), TypeScript and latest (ES6+) JavaScript standards  
Experience in JavaScript frontend frameworks (such as Angular, React, Vue.js)  
Good understanding of best practices of building cross-browser, device-independent interfaces and RESTful web services 
Open to learn new technologies every day 
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills 
Good English communication for both speaking and writing
Familiarity with Git and branching models is an advantage
It’s good to have experience with Jira, Confluence

The Position

MetaDefender Storage Security is is an enterprise-grade platform designed to safeguard data at rest—whether on-premises, in the cloud, or across hybrid environments. It defends against cyber threats, ensures regulatory compliance, and helps manage performance at scale.

The position will play an important role in assuring quality of OPSWAT Cybersecurity technologies and products at highest level. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will help improve efficiency and productivity of our software product teams.

What You Will Be Doing:

Dedicated for test automation
Working with product teams to understand assigned products and identify automation opportunities for the products
Identify automation tools and technologies suitable for our products
Build new automation framework or enhance existing framework
Identify automation test cases and implement the test cases
Work with product teams to measure automation coverage

What We Need From You

Software testing with a good QA mindset
Experience in building automation framework for different test levels such as UI, API, Integration, and End-to-end
Experience in applying automation framework and tools such as: JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or other automation frameworks
Proficient in using any scripting languages such as: Python, Groovy, JavaScript
Proficient in using any programming languages such as: C/C++, C#, Java
Experience with GIT or other source control systems
Intermediate or higher English communication

It Would Be Nice If You Have

Background in software development and used to work as a developer
Have knowledge about Networking
Familiar with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkin, TeamCity
Used to work in Agile software development team
Cybersecurity domain experience, including file security, device security, network security and etc.. (CEH is welcomed)
