Hypervisor
The Device Posture Module detects virtualization software applications installed on the device and retrieves other relevant information. This is important because hypervisors enable a user to run multiple computing environments on the endpoint that are not readily accessible by the device compliance software and may enable malign users to run undetected applications in these environments to exfiltrate corporate data.
Detection
Fast and accurate discovery of hypervisors installed on the endpoint, as well as information about their versions, vendor names, product language and architecture.
Configuration
Retrieve the list of virtual machines which are installed on the hypervisor, as well as a complete list of snapshots, and even determine if a virtual machine is running, stopped or suspended.
Remediation
Remote management of the VM, by allowing you to stop, suspend or start the machines.
