What types of licenses are available for MetaDefender Core?
This article applies to all MetaDefender Core V4 and V5 releases deployed on Windows or Linux systems.
MetaDefender Core is available in a range of package options and highly customisable configurations, in order to cater to the diverse needs of our home, small to large business, offline/online platform and critical infrastructure clients.
Our standard packages differ in terms of the number of licensed AV scan engines they include, which in turn impacts other factors such as the requirements for the underlying system/s, including disk space, RAM, and the number of CPU cores, etc.
As a general rule, the scale and complexity of your digital infrastructure will dictate the size of your chosen packages, as well as the number and configuration of MetaDefender Core instances that need to be deployed under your license.
In the case of more advanced deployments, your infrastructure would likely benefit from integration with various other OPSWAT product options, such as MetaDefender Kiosk, Vault and more.
