User management
If a new user needs access to MetaDefender Software Supply Chain, at the login page he will be greeted with the link to create a new account.
Clicking on Create new link following screen is presented:
After filling in all the fields of the above form, click the Register button, in case the chosen username is taken a message will be shown with the error:
After the user successfully registers it will be returned to the login page and a notification will appear that the "User created successfully":
If this is the first registered user, then it will be automatically assigned the role of "Administrator", and the account will automatically be set to active.
For now, only Administrator Role is available.
If this was not the first user then when this new user attempts to login "Account is not active" error will be displayed:
