Kiosk shows warning popup for unexpected “C:\Program” File

Issue

  • When starting the Kiosk device, a popup with a file name warning may appear. This error message can also occur during other stages of Kiosk operation.

Cause

  • In Yara engine version 5.0.0-437, dependency checking creates an unexpected file named C:\Program, which triggers the warning popup.

Solution

  • Upgrade the Yara engine to version 5.0.1-438 or later. This resolves the issue and prevents the warning from appearing.
