After a scan completes, MetaDefender Software Supply Chain generates a report. Reports help you review the scan results at a glance and drill into details for each analyzed file.
View reports
To view all reports, open Reports from the left-hand menu.
What you’ll see in a report
A report typically includes:
- Overall scan summary - a high-level view of the scan (for example, total findings and overall status).
- Issue breakdown - a list or count of detected issues, often grouped by severity or type.
- Per-file analysis - file-by-file results and details for each item that was analyzed.
If you are troubleshooting a specific failure, start with the overall summary to identify the highest-severity findings, then open the per-file analysis for the affected files.
Next steps
- If issues are detected, review the affected files in the per-file analysis section and address the findings.
- Re-run the process after making changes to confirm the issues are resolved.
