My Credentials
The MetaDefender® MFT allows specific users to store personal credentials, that can be used in other parts of the application.
To reach your credentials simply click on the user symbol in the top-right corner of the application and select My Credentials from the drop-down menu.
Currently only SSH private keys can be stored, which can be used for authentication on SFTP servers.
SSH Keys
To save a private SSH key click on the Add SSH Key button, and on the pop up modal enter a proper name, and paste your private key.
After you have successfully saved the SSH key, it can be edited or deleted from the action menu:
For security reasons the application does not return the saved private key, so the key should be re-entered even if you want to update only the name of the stored key.
