What is the Design of MetaDefender Core and Its Protective Measures?
MetaDefender Core, functions and ensures the complete safety of the files you receive, rendering them impossible to be triggered or activated in any way once they reach your machine.
Files sent to MetaDefender Core are temporarily stored in a specific folder during the scanning process. These files are saved with a randomized name, and their extensions are removed to prevent any possible triggering or activation.
MetaDefender Core scans the files as raw data, ensuring that they are not activated in any way during the process. This method enables us to scan your files without engaging any potentially harmful functions they might contain.
Upon completion of the scanning process, the files are immediately deleted. The duration of the scanning process can vary, typically ranging from a few milliseconds to a few minutes, depending on the size and type of the files.
This mechanism ensures the utmost safety and reliability, as no files can be activated or triggered during their stay on your machine.
