Why does the MFT (air gap system) console show a white page after a new installation?
This article is applied to Managed File Transfer (MFT) releases deployed on Windows and Linux systems.
Issue: Upon new installation of MFT 3.9.1.0, launching the MFT console immediately after installation results in a white page being displayed in the browser. This issue is caused by
- Using an outdated browser version
- MFT services are not currently running
Affected Version/Platforms: MFT 3.9.1.0 and earlier
Resolution:
- Update your browser to a supported version.
- Supported Browsers:
- Chrome 67 or later
- Microsoft Edge (last two major versions)
- Safari (last two major versions)
- Firefox 68 or later
- Supported Browsers:
Steps to Resolve for unsupported browsers:
- Determine the current version of your web browser.
- If your browser is not a supported version, update it to the latest available version or one of the supported versions listed above.
- After updating your browser, clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Restart your browser and Log in to the MFT console again.
- Force start your MFT service: Force start OPSWAT MetaDefender Managed File Transfer Helper and other services should start accordingly
