As of August 2022, OPSWAT has adopted a new MetaDefender Endpoint version format across all operating platforms.
All new MetaDefender Endpoint version numbers now comprise the format of O.V.YYMM.B, where the following version sub-values apply:

| V = Type of client | 7.6.x = Windows Persistent 7.3.x = Windows On-Demand 10.4.x = macOS Persistent 10.5.x = macOS On-Demand 15.6.x = Redhat Persistent 15.4.x = Debian Persistent 2.7.x = Android 2.x = iOS |
