Within MetaDefender IT Access policies, administrators have the option to determine a device’s compliance based on specific anti-malware applications that are required to exist on that device.
MetaDefender IT Access introduces a list of Windows anti-malware products that can be filtered based on their certification level.
To access these settings, go to your MetaDefender IT Access Console>Policy Management>Policies>Relevant Policy>Deep Compliance>Anti-Malware, as illustrated below.
The meaning of these certification levels is as follows.
The OPSWAT Access Control Certification Program awards Gold and Platinum level certification based on two primary criteria:
- Compatibility with access control solutions.
- Security effectiveness of the products, verifying that they deliver on their claimed features.
