Device Location Option
Purpose
Device Location option allows Kiosk device to send its geographic location to My OPSWAT Central Management. This enables real-time location tracking, which enhances operational oversights, supports asset management, and facilitates rapid response in case of maintenance needs or security incidents.
This article document shows how to enable “Device Location Option” for MetaDefender Kiosk during system configuration.
Solution
Since this feature enables the kiosk to share its geographic location with My OPSWAT Central Management, the kiosk must be managed by My OPSWAT in order to utilize this capability
To enable sharing "Device Location" in MD Kiosk, please read through the following guidance for step-by-step instructions.
