How to update the MetaDefender Endpoint license in MyOPSWAT Central Management v10 On-Premises?

Purpose

This article explains how to update the MetaDefender Endpoint license from MyOPSWAT Central Management v10 On-Premises in both an online and offline environment. This is done when the license undergoes modifications to the number of managed devices or when adding new packages to the license.

Steps

1. Open MyOPSWAT Central Management WEB Portal.

2. Navigate to License on the left hand side menu.

3. Under MetaDefender Endpoint, on the right hand sand of the screen, click on the 3 dots.

4. Select Update.

5. Under Add MetaDefender Endpoint License choose a license activation method: Online or Offline.

   1. For Online activation, simply use your license key to update the instance.
   2. For Offline activation, the instance will have to be activated by using MyOPSWAT Portal. See the procedure here: https://www.opswat.com/docs/my/license-management/activate-license
