This article applies to all MetaDefender Security Gateway releases.
If you are unable to access the product due to invalid credentials or incorrect password, and there is not any other admin account your organization could use to gain access, access to the appliance will be lost permanently.
Due to obvious security reasons, there is currently not a way to reset user credentials in the product.
A complete re-image of the product will be needed as a fresh deployment. Please reach out to OPSWAT Support to provide all the information needed for this re-image process.
