Integrations
Remote MetaDefender Managed File Transfer™ instances can be registered as integrations for various use cases, such as file transfer automation. For further details, visit the Introduction to File Transfer Automation section.
To manage integration instances, go to "Settings" → "Integrations" → "MFT."
MetaDefender Managed File Transfer integrations are globally shared, meaning every user with permissions to view them will see the same set of integrations.
Configuration
To configure an MFT integration, provide the following information:
- MFT Name: The display name which can be anything. It will be used when selecting the integration instance.
- MFT URL: The HTTP or HTTPS URL to the remote instance.
- Ignore Certificate Warnings: Option to ignore HTTPS issues when connecting to this instance.
Testing the Connection
Users can test the connection to a configured integration. This test checks whether the configured MFT instance is accessible.
