General Audit Log
General audit functionality is implemented to track and store information about user (and system) activities within the MD MFT. This feature is crucial for maintaining security, compliance, and ensuring accountability. The general audit system captures and records various operations performed by users, providing an invaluable tool for administrators to monitor system usage. Audit messages are visible exclusively to administrator users.
The time, event details, user, source and status of the action are listed. You can filter the events by entering text in the search box and also sort based on column headers.

Export General Audit Log
You can export the audit data in a CSV (comma separated values) file. This can be loaded in any 3rd party application, or saved in another internal database.
To configure General Audit and File Audit settings, navigate to the "Settings" menu and select the "Audit Settings" option.
File Audit Log
File Audit functionality is designed to monitor and record activities related to file operations within the system. This includes tracking changes, access attempts, and modifications made to files, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security policies. File Audit messages are visible exclusively to administrator users.
Clicking on the "File Audit" menu option displays files in a view similar to the Processing History. Clicking on a specific file reveals the corresponding audit messages associated with that file.
The files are displayed in chronological order based on the timestamp of their last performed operation.

It is possible to apply filters based on file name, tag status, outcome, and time.

Export File Audit Log
There is also an option to export file audit messages, similar to exporting audit messages. On the main file audit page, clicking the "Export History" button opens a window where the administrator can choose the time range. Subsequently, all file entries within the selected time range are exported.
Using the "Export Button" on an individual file's details page exports only the audit messages associated with that specific file.
