Timeout in channel error
During extreme load the MetaDefender Email Gateway Security internal communication channel could have failed and email processing stopped, requiring a service restart.
Corrupted text/HTML attachments due to sanitization
On rare occurrences plain text and/or HTML attachments could corrupt when sanitized.
Illegal characters in attachment name could cause failure to process email
Certain attachment name characters could cause processing to fail for emails.
Disclaimer(s) not visible in email body when formatted as flowed text
Emails that include bodies formatted as flowed text could lack configured disclaimer content.
Anti-Spam engine failed to initialize
On rare occasions the Anti-Spam engine could fail to initialize after a product upgrade.

Prioritize HTML charset from body part headers
The new configuration option html_prioritize_header_charset is available to prioritize HTML charset selection from the body part information, rather than from <meta> tag.
