New Features | Improved Secure Storage with Data Integrity Verification: So that Smart Touch now verifies file integrity on its Secure File Storage using a signed manifest generated by MetaDefender Kiosk. When scanning files with Kiosk, the device validates that files have not been modified using manifest-based verification with encryption keys. Improved user experience: Smart Touch can now detect its operational state, whether actively booting or simply connected to a host device in a more robust method that reduces power consumption and extends battery life. New method for updating Smart Touch: by downloading the *.deb package and put it in an USB storage, Smart Touch will automatically pick up the installer and upgrade by itself.
