Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST)

Issue:

MetaDefender Drive boots the laptop up successfully but there is no disk found under “Disk Status and Remediation”

Root cause:

Some laptops (and desktops too) have Intel RST enabled and that prevents MetaDefender Drive from detecting and accessing storage

Solutions:

go to its BIOS and find the SATA configuration section
if there is something like RAID ON, please switch it to AHCI
plug MD Drive and try to boot into Drive again, then analyze your system as needed
after that, please go to BIOS again to set SATA configuration back to the previous state before booting into Windows
