Benny Czarny is the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of OPSWAT, a global cybersecurity company securing the world’s most critical infrastructure through a prevention-first philosophy: trust no file, trust no device.

Benny founded OPSWAT in 2002 from a small apartment in San Francisco with a bold vision — to reinvent cybersecurity by focusing on prevention instead of detection. With no outside investment, he bootstrapped OPSWAT from a one-person startup into a global organization with more than a thousand employees, serving thousands of enterprise and government customers in over 100 countries.

Under his leadership, OPSWAT has pioneered Deep CDR™ Technology (Content Disarm and Reconstruction) technology and other breakthrough innovations, including Metascan™ multiscanning, secure file transfer, and advanced sandboxing. These technologies are now trusted to protect mission-critical systems across energy, defense, transportation, finance, and government sectors, helping prevent catastrophic breaches before they occur.

With over two decades of expertise in encryption, vulnerability management, and secure architecture, Benny is recognized as one of the world’s leading advocates for Data Sanitization and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP). His work has helped shift the global cybersecurity mindset from reactive detection to proactive prevention, positioning OPSWAT at the forefront of protecting the systems that power modern civilization.

As both CEO and Chairman, Benny continues to drive OPSWAT’s long-term strategy, product innovation, and culture of execution. He remains deeply involved in the company’s technology roadmap, guiding its evolution toward a world where every file and device entering a secure network is verifiably safe.

Benny’s leadership style is grounded in curiosity, conviction, and hands-on innovation. From bootstrapping OPSWAT’s first product to leading a global organization shaping cybersecurity policy and defense standards, he has built a company defined not by fear of threats but by confidence in prevention. His mission remains clear: to eliminate cyber threats before they can execute and make prevention the foundation of digital trust worldwide.

James Neilson is the SVP of International Sales at OPSWAT, where he oversees the go-to-market function and is responsible for scaling the business through our own sales teams and partner channels, meeting revenue and profitability targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

James has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, 18 of which are in leadership positions for cybersecurity companies. Prior to joining OPSWAT he served as VP of Sales EMEA at Immersive Labs – a UK-based cyber startup – and held leadership roles at Forcepoint and Symantec.

Chris Gray is the VP of Sales for Americas at OPSWAT, where he oversees the organization’s planning, implementation, sales performance, and go-to-market strategy for the Americas region.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry and prior to joining OPSWAT, Chris spearheaded sales initiatives as the Director of Sales at Symantec, VP of Sales at Forcepoint, and most recently as a Strategic Advisor for TheFence and Doppel.

Itay Glick is a global technology executive with leadership experience across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He currently serves as GM of Hardware and OT Security at OPSWAT.

Before OPSWAT, he was Vice President of Product at Allot (NASDAQ: ALLT), leading the development of advanced cybersecurity solutions for global service providers. Earlier, he was Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Services at Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), where he helped protect Fortune 100 enterprises and private data clouds.

He also founded a pioneering cybersecurity company that was later acquired by Menlo Security, and played a key role at Verint Systems (NASDAQ: VRNT) in developing lawful interception technologies. Itay began his career as an Engineering Group Manager in an elite intelligence unit, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of security and innovation.

He holds an MBA, a b.sc . in Electrical Engineering, and the CISSP and CEH cybersecurity certifications.

Mimi Alperovich is a seasoned enterprise sales executive with deep expertise in cybersecurity for the financial services sector. At OPSWAT, she plays a pivotal role in helping global banks and financial institutions secure their critical infrastructure through advanced threat prevention and compliance-driven solutions.

With a strong track record of driving growth at high-impact cybersecurity companies, Mimi has worked closely with CISOs, CTOs, and risk leaders to address the unique security challenges facing highly regulated environments. Her consultative approach and industry knowledge enable her to align complex security requirements with practical, scalable solutions.

Throughout her career, Mimi has consistently delivered results across a broad spectrum of industries, including energy, manufacturing, logistics, and oil & gas—but her focus and passion remain rooted in safeguarding the financial services ecosystem against evolving cyber threats.
