My Organization and its sub-organizations

The My Organization tab displays licenses for both the main organization and its sub-organizations if the following conditions are met:

  • The current organization has the "Manage Sub-organizations" setting enabled. Users can submit support ticket to request this setting.
  • AND The user has Full Access permission on the "License Management" role object. User can request the Organization's Admin to grant this permission. (Refer to Custom Roles and Permissions#custom-roles-and-permissions for details)
  • AND The user has Full Access/View Only permission on the "License Management - Sub Organizations" role object. User can request the Organization's Admin grant this permission. (Refer to Custom Roles and Permissions#custom-roles-and-permissions for details)

Authorized users can view or manage licenses and perform certain actions for both the main organization and its sub-organizations, depending on their assigned permissions.

Cloud Services:

  • For MetaDefender Cloud: My OPSWAT Portal displays the main organization’s license information, including the user's API Key and license details. For sub-organizations, only license details are displayed.
  • For MetaDefender IT Access: Since the license is personal, the portal shows user's license information for the current organization only.

On-Premises Product Licenses: The following information is displayed

  • Product: The name of the OPSWAT Product.

  • License Key: The license keys associated with the OPSWAT Product.

  • Status: The status of the license, either Active, Expiring or Expired.

  • Start Date: The date when the license becomes effective.

  • Expiration Date: The expiration date of the license.

  • Deployed / Purchased: The number of deployed product instances and the instance limit purchased for the license.
