MetaDefender Storage Security Documentation

MetaDefender Storage Security (MDSS) protects your storage against malware, zero-day threats, and hidden sensitive data. It scans files at rest and in real time across cloud and on-premises storage, using multiscanning with 30+ anti-malware engines, Deep CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction), Proactive DLP, and vulnerability assessment.

Use this documentation to plan, deploy, size, license, and operate MDSS across supported storage targets including Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Dell EMC Isilon, NetApp, SMB/CIFS and NFS shares, and Kubernetes-based cloud deployments.
