We're committed to continuously improving our product and addressing user needs.

Highlights

New Integration: Native NetApp Storage

  • NetApp storage is now natively integrated with MetaDefender Storage Security, using the ONTAP connector.

  • Enhanced resiliency for the NetApp ONTAP connector with a snapshot feature. A snapshot of in-progress files is saved every 3 seconds, ensuring data protection in case of failures.

  • Real-Time Processing (RTP) with Event-Based Mechanism: Each time the same file is sent, a separate scan is triggered for each request.

New Integration: OPSWAT MetaDefender Managed File Transfer (MFT)

  • Integrated with OPSWAT Managed File Transfer using an API key for efficient file management and transfer to non-structured storage systems. This integration preserves user-to-user file mapping for research and analysis.

New Integration: Cubbit Storage

  • Added Cubbit as a new storage type in MetaDefender Storage Security, complete with dedicated logo and integration features.

Others

  • MetaDefender Storage Security now supports PingFederate as an SSO (single sign-on) provider via OpenID Connect. This integration allows for seamless and secure user authentication.
  • Enhanced scan management now includes balanced priority queues for real-time processing and instant scans. This improvement boosts scan performance, minimizes delays, and optimizes resource utilization. Stay tuned for an upcoming update that will allow users to select scan priority when initiating a scan.
Improvements
  • Improved API documentation for HealthStatus, GetEnabledModules, andStartScan endpoints. The documentation now includes detailed descriptions and usage instructions.
  • Updated the Serilog package to version 4.0.1 to enhance integration capabilities and security.
