Note on System Requirements
Please be aware that the system requirements for our software are contingent upon the quantity and size of files being processed. Larger quantities or bigger files may demand more computational resources, such as memory and CPU power, for optimal performance. Ensure that you consider your anticipated workload when evaluating your system's capabilities.

Virtual memory requirements
MetaDefender Storage Security requires 32GB of free committed memory to run Docker containers. To increase committed memory you can increase the pagefile size or add more physical RAM.
System requirements for Windows Server
- Internet connectivity to hub.docker.com
- Virtualization is supported and enabled
- If you're deploying on a virtual machine in Hyper-V
- Ensure that nested virtualization is configured. Stop the virtual machine first and then run the following command on the physical Hyper-V host:
Set-VMProcessor -VMName <VMName> -ExposeVirtualizationExtensions $true2. Start back the virtual machine and connect to it
Docker Desktop is not compatible with Windows Server 2019. The MetaDefender Storage Security installer will install a specific version of Docker automatically. Please make sure that full internet connectivity is available during installation to avoid issues while downloading dependencies.
