New Features
Import and export language packs	Kiosk now supports importing and importing translated language packs, making it easier to back up and reuse custom translations across Kiosk devices.
Support for NFC authentication (PC/SC mode)	Kiosk now supports NFC cards (PC/SC Mode) as a login method. Users can simply swipe their NFC card, and Kiosk will automatically authenticate the card ID with Active Directory to grant access.
Check device information on Kiosk UI	Administrators can now enable an option to display device information. End users can view system details directly, which can be helpful when working with administrators for troubleshooting
Options to skip protected system, hidden files and folder	Kiosk introduces two new options to skip processing certain files and folders, providing administrators more control on Kiosk scanning processes. Skip protected operating system files: Skips files and folders with 'S' (System file) attribute Skip hidden files and folders: Skips files and folders with 'H' (Hidden file) attribute
Password entry timeout for encrypted files	Administrator can now configure a timeout for password entry on encrypted files. When the time limit is exceeded, the encrypted files will be automatically blocked, ensures unattended encrypted files don’t stay pending.
Windows login automatically start Kiosk scan session	Kiosk now supports a new login option “login with Windows authentication” for scan sessions. When enabled, users can log in with their Active Directory account or by swiping their smart card to access Windows. The Kiosk will then automatically log in with the same account to start the scanning session.
Kiosk UI supports Exit, Shutdown and Restart	Administrators can now enable to display control buttons for Exit, Shutdown, and Restart directly on the Kiosk device.
Enhancements	-
Improve message for permission checks when retrieving files	A loading indicator with the message “Checking access permissions for network share...” is now displayed during permission checks in the Retrieve File operation. This improves user feedback and prevents confusion while access validation is in progress.
Improved workflow navigation in Kiosk UI	When the number of workflows exceeds the available display space, the Kiosk interface now shows arrow buttons to indicate additional workflows are available for navigation
Improve file count display when start retrieving files	The Kiosk now improves the display during large file retrievals from network shares. The total file count is displayed at the start of the retrieval process
Toast notification for core connection	When Kiosk integrates with multiple Core instances, a toast message is now displayed to indicate which Core the Kiosk is currently connecting to
Support Sony XDCam drive	Add support for Sony XDCam drive
Support ELECOM (MF-PUVT3xxGA3 and MF-ENU3) and Datalocker Sentry 5 FIPS encrypted USB devices	Add support for ELECOM (MF-PUVT3xxGA3 and MF-ENU3) and Datalocker Sentry 5 FIPS encrypted USB devices
Support YubiKey Smart Card	Add support for YubiKey Smart card
Security enhancements	Addressed a security issue in the Kiosk UI embedded console to enhance the overall security of the system
Refined Kiosk Hardened Image upgrade settings layout [Kiosk Hardened Image 25.08.0]	In Kiosk Hardened Image upgrade, separated upgrade source and upgrade schedule settings to improve clarity and make configuration more intuitive.
Pop up warning for upgrade restrictions [Kiosk Hardened Image 25.08.0]	A popup message has been added to inform users of upgrade limitations before starting the upgrade, ensuring they are aware of restrictions in advance
Bugs
Resolved issue with Eclypt drive detection	Resolved an issue where the Kiosk failed to detect and unlock Eclypt devices
Known issues
The toast message is overlapped	The toast message when connecting to primary and backup Core will be overlapped with menu icons on Kiosk Tower, Kiosk Mini and Kiosk Mobile screen.
Switching login option may not apply	When switching from “Login with Windows Authentication” option to “Windows user login” option, the change doesn’t apply
