Trusting an HTTPS MetaDefender Core

In order to allow a MetaDefender Kiosk to work properly with a MetaDefender Core server, configured to use HTTPS (refer to the MetaDefender Core user guide to configure HTTPS), the certificate must be trusted on the system the MetaDefender Kiosk resides on. The SSL verification option in the global Configuration page needs to be enabled.

Trusting local or remote self signed security certificate

To trust self signed certificates, the public certificates configured for the Metadefender Core needs to be manually appended into the file ca-certificates.crt located under the Metadefender Kiosk installation folder <Kiosk installation folder>\ca-certificates.crt
