MetaDefender Endpoint protects your endpoint from cyber-attacks on removable media by detecting, scanning, and sanitizing data, files, and documents, strengthening security capabilities to adapt compliance standards worldwide.

MetaDefender Endpoint can also monitor and audit, or block unauthorized data to endpoints, and restrict media access while enabling content passage through advanced security.

TECHNOLOGIES

  • Multiscanning technology: scan the endpoints with 30+ antivirus engines combined, also has a detection rate of 99,39%,
  • Deep CDR technology: prevents zero-day attacks from unknowing malware, with file support of up to 150+ types.
  • Proactive Data Loss Prevention (DLP): protect sensitive data from social security cards, ID cards and confidential information.
  • File-based vulnerability assessments: detect software installers, firmware packages, and executable programs vulnerabilities before installing them.
  • Adaptive sandbox: 10 times faster than traditional sandbox with fewer resource requirements, bringing effective analyzing capabilities to detect zero-day attacks to the critical infrastructure.

The installer can be easily downloaded on MyOPSWAT Portal and doesn’t disrupt workflow changes or require complex deployments, also known as part of Peripheral and Removable Media Protection solutions.

KEY PRODUCT FEATURES

Removable Media Protection

Blocks access to USB drives and other removable media devices until security conditions are met.

Enforced Media Usage

Removable media usage is allowed only after no threats have been detected.

Inspect Archives

Scan files contained within archives, both encrypted and unencrypted. Encrypted devices are also supported.

Internet Connected & Air-Gapped Support

Supports both online and offline working environments. Can support a secure file transfer workflow on air-gapped networks when used with MetaDefender Managed File Transfer.

PERIPHERAL MEDIA TYPES

MetaDefender Endpoint automatically detects multiple peripheral media insertions for the following media types:

  • USB devices
  • CDs/DVDs/Blu-ray
  • Card readers
  • SD cards
  • Floppy disks

Not all USB devices are currently supported. If you have a specific device you need supported, please contact OPSWAT support.
