On-Endpoint Scanning Enabling Disconnected Operation
Users can now scan files from removable media with a local anti-malware engine. Removing external dependencies and expanding new deployment options enables critical operation regardless of user location, or network status. This enhancement makes MetaDefender Endpoint an all-in-one agent for seamless protection against peripheral and removable media threats.

Improved Security with Drag-and-drop Secure File Download
Users can now benefit from a smoother workflow when downloading files securely from the web using drag and drop. This enhancement brings a seamless, intuitive and secure experience in downloading files from browsers as it prevents threats from bypassing scans and reaching critical endpoints.
Real-Time EntraID Reporting
- Immediate detection and reporting of changes to EntraID (Azure information), including device ID.
- Compliance reports are instantly updated and sent to the server.
Link App Updates to Vulnerability Fixes
Added a button on the Compliance Page linking directly to MDE Patch Management, enabling users to address vulnerable apps or OS updates quickly.
Account Switch for All Users
Account switching is now available to all users, regardless of account type. This feature requires the MDE UI to be activated.

Updated the “Update” icon on the Patch Management page to align with the consistent icon style.

OPSWAT Media Validation Agent (OMVA - 2.0.13.307)

Agent returns all expired manifest files from the .OPSWAT folder, while the remaining files are valid.
- Expired manifest files are those that are no longer valid due to reasons such as outdated security policies, or exceeded validity periods. The agent identifies these expired files and skips them, while the remaining files in the folder are considered valid.
Don't show notification for validation when plugin USB device on Windows XP
- In Windows XP, when a USB device is connected, the system typically performs a validation process to ensure the device is recognized and functions correctly. During this process, the operating system will display notifications to inform the user about the status of the validation, such as whether the device was successfully validated or if there were any issues.
