Improvements and Enhancements
  • Optimized Log Storage : New Log Level settings enabling users to skip non-essential logs, improving performance and reducing the possibility of full disk issues.

  • Enhanced User Experience: Improved scan progress tracking with more accurate remaining time estimates, ensuring a smoother user experience. In addition, users can now skip manual network configuration prompt before scans.

  • Enhanced Reporting and Alerts: Users are notified when the the disk space is nearly full or the number of saved reports exceeds 100, improving performance and usability.

  • Enhanced Scan Maximum File Size Settings: The maximum file size limit is now optimized for balanced performance and better system resource management. Users can now set the maximum file size limit within a pre-defined range, contributing to faster scans and reducing the possibility of test failures due to disk space overuse.
  • Engine Initialization UI Enhancement: Users can now view the status of required engines on display dashboard, improving visibility.

  • Expanded Multilingual Support: Updated and enhanced support for the following 12 languages: English, Dutch, German, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Polish, for better accessibility for global users.

Bug Fixes
  • Resolved an issue of the elapsed time tracker freezes.
  • Resolved an issue of the MAC address not being recognized on some devices.
Known IssuesMetaDefender Drive may run out of space under certain conditions. Clearing space by removing outdated reports and logs is recommended.
