Configuring BIOS Time for Centralized Scanning Profile

To use Managed Scanning Profiles feature, it is required for users to set the BIOS time to the current time in the UTC+0 time zone to ensure accurate time synchronization and functionality.

Option 1: Adjust BIOS Settings

  1. Power on the machine.
  2. Enter the BIOS setup utility by repeatedly pressing the designated key (F1, F2, F9, ESC, or DEL, depending on the manufacturer) immediately after the computer starts. Refer to the manufacturer's manual if needed.
  3. Locate the System Time or Date/Time settings in the BIOS menu.
  4. Update the Date and Time to match the current time in UTC+0.
  5. Save the changes and exit the BIOS.
  6. Boot the system using MetaDefender Drive (MD Drive).

Option 2: Adjust Windows Time Zone

  1. Open Search in Windows.
  2. Navigate to Date & Time Settings.
  3. Set the Time Zone to UTC+0 to align with the required system configuration.
