Configuring BIOS Time for Centralized Scanning Profile
To use Managed Scanning Profiles feature, it is required for users to set the BIOS time to the current time in the UTC+0 time zone to ensure accurate time synchronization and functionality.
Option 1: Adjust BIOS Settings
- Power on the machine.
- Enter the BIOS setup utility by repeatedly pressing the designated key (

, orDEL
, depending on the manufacturer) immediately after the computer starts. Refer to the manufacturer's manual if needed. - Locate the System Time or Date/Time settings in the BIOS menu.
- Update the Date and Time to match the current time in UTC+0.
- Save the changes and exit the BIOS.
- Boot the system using MetaDefender Drive (MD Drive).
Option 2: Adjust Windows Time Zone
- Open Search in Windows.
- Navigate to Date & Time Settings.
- Set the Time Zone to UTC+0 to align with the required system configuration.
