Wifi connections not found for some old laptops

Issue:

On some of the aged machines, sometimes there is the issue “No Wi-fi Adapter Found”


Root cause:

MetaDefender Drive operating system cannot find the proper driver to use.

Solution:

Please use Ethernet or a USB Wi-fi dongle instead

Here is a list of Wifi dongles that we have tested and confirmed work well with Drive:
