Executable Format Support

Executable file formats account for the vast majority of malicious binaries circulating in enterprise and internet-facing environments. By providing deep structural analysis across PE, ELF, and Mach-O files, Predictive Alin AI delivers broad coverage of executable-based threats, including zero-day and low-prevalence malware.

The engine supports the three primary executable formats used across modern platforms:

  • PE (Portable Executable) – Windows operating systems
  • ELF (Executable and Linkable Format) – Linux and Unix-based systems
  • Mach-O (Mach Object) – macOS and Apple platforms

Productivity File Formats

Beyond native executables, Predictive Alin AI extends analysis capabilities to commonly used productivity documents. These file types are widely exchanged across email systems, collaboration platforms, and external content-sharing channels, and are frequently leveraged in phishing campaigns and document-based attack chains.

By including productivity formats within its inspection scope, the engine provides broader visibility into enterprise file flows and strengthens protection across business-critical communication channels. Additional coverage within this category is planned to further expand document-level threat detection capabilities.

Currently supported productivity formats include:

  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
