Overview of the Configuration Workflow

About this task

Use this overview procedure to configure all three components: Enterprise Manager, Site Manager, and Network Sensor.

Before you begin

Based on your organization's security rules, it's important to select the appropriate communication method for MetaDefender OT Security when setting up connectivity between the Enterprise Manager, Site Manager, and Network

*Note: Make sure to select the matching communication model between all components involved: Site Manager, Enterprise Manager, and Network Sensors. This ensures consistent and reliable communication across the system.

Procedure

Note: This also apply for after configuration successfully, if you need to change the IP address for all components (Enterprise Manager, Site Manager, and Network Sensor), start by navigating to the Enterprise Manager on the Web Console. Then proceed to remove all Network Sensors and Site Managers.

Afterwards, you can follow the workflow below to reconfigure.

Model #1. Bi-directional

Two-way (inbound + outbound) communications between components

Model #2. Uni-directional

One-way (outbound) communication to the upper component.
