OPSWAT is looking for a customer facing Solutions Architect for Professional services that excels within high scale cybersecurity designs and managed services solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for architecture, design, implementation, and supportability of all solutions within the OPSWAT product portfolio. The successful candidate will work with other technology team members and end users to understand business requirements and implement optimized solutions.

The Solutions Architect serves a critical role to further the customer success business unit at OPSWAT. Solutions Architects are often called on by OPSWAT Sales teams, Software Engineering, and Sales Engineering Teams for technical assistance in performing security and technical audits for potential and existing customers.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Meeting with customers and VIPs to define project deliverables and requirements
  • Outlining details required to develop Scopes of Work
  • Creating and documenting application flows
  • Performing implementations, both remote and on-site
  • Perform and/or coordinate technology Security assessments
  • Provide SME consulting for IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
  • Perform reviews of API code performance and functionality
  • Participate in technology workshops with vendors and customers

What We Need from You:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise and service-oriented architectures with at least 2 years of applied experience in software engineering and/or development
  • Expert level knowledge of on-prem, cloud, and hybrid data center infrastructure, cybersecurity technology, infrastructure design, policies, and procedures
  • Expert knowledge of Network security technologies such as NAC, NGFW, SIEM, and secure remote access
  • Expert knowledge of virtual computing environments
  • High level of Familiarity CIP, HIPAA, PCI, and other compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with the Purdue model
  • Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, and PHP
  • Intermediate knowledge of SLB and proxy technologies such as F5 LTM
  • Familiarity with SSO/IAM solution such as OKTA and Citrix workspace
  • Ability and drive to conduct research on emerging technologies
  • Must be able to work in a strong team environment to support the design, development, testing, documentation, and support of customer projects
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

It Would Be Nice If You Had:

  • Technical writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Software as a service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) technology such as Kubernetes and container Orchestration
  • Experience in project management
  • Disaster recovery solutions: backup/recovery, mirroring, active/standby, and active/active
