The Position:

The Manager of Revenue Operations role works closely with sales, marketing, and customer success leadership to provide quantitative and qualitative insights to drive strategic sales & marketing discussions.  Additionally, this role provides technical leadership and business-related subject matter expertise to team members and other departments. The role is responsible for evaluating and developing reliable and efficient reporting methodologies to answer senior management questions in a timely and accurate manner as well as identifying trends independently requiring additional analysis. Incumbent acts as mentor to other members of the reporting and analysis team, developing their technical capabilities.  This position will play a key role in analysing and driving our most important financial objectives, including revenue, pricing, & profitability.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance in creating reporting and performing analysis on business trends and projects: including, but not limited to, comparing results to previous trends, evaluating, and explaining new trends, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations to stakeholders. research and analysis.
  • Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales channel organizations.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for the data in the reports and analysis. This position will have full accountability for their work and will be responsible for all projects from beginning to end.
  • Developing prototype reports to be put into production into Salesforce.com and Power BI or similar tools
  • Developing complex reporting methodologies, identifying proper data sources, and building code to gather data.
  • Researching new reporting topics to gain a full understanding of how the resulting data flows through the data warehouse for accurate reporting.
  • Review and optimize proposed pricing for prospects and customers in conjunction with the Sales Teams.
  • Partners with sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Responsible for equitably assigning sales quotas and ensuring OPSWAT’s financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources through the quota programme.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand the strategic direction of the business to determine appropriate recommendations for both compensation related questions as well as sales teams’ structures and territory design.
  • A key responsibility of this position is to identify any improvement opportunities in this area and, if asked to, contribute to the design and implementation of new processes or procedures because of identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Make system/ processes more efficient and scalable, and work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and minimize operational risk.
  • College degree required or 4 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to organize large amounts of data in a way that can be consumed by leadership to make business decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
  • 4-6 years of experience with business analytics, report creation, data validation and report
  • 3+ years’ experience writing Power BI/Tableau preferred
  • Strong MS Access, MS Excel required
  • Proficiency using appropriate business and marketing applications, i.e., Salesforce, HubSpot
