Overview

OPSWAT AI Content Inspector is an AI-driven content authenticity and document fraud detection engine for MetaDefender. It analyzes visual, textual, and structural signals to help organizations identify suspicious invoices, claim images, accident photos, and other high-risk content before review, approval, or payout. It also identifies whether digital content, including text and images, was created by a human or generated by an AI system.

The engine uses a hybrid detection methodology that combines metadata analysis, content fingerprinting, and multimodal AI classification to evaluate both content origin and document authenticity. By correlating signals across these layers, OPSWAT AI Content Inspector can distinguish AI-generated content from authentic material and surface fraud indicators in invoices, claim evidence, and identity documents. Detection results include confidence scores and explainability data, enabling administrators to understand the basis for each classification and fraud verdict.
