Where can I download OPSWAT Mobile App for iOS or Android?
This article applies to all OPSWAT Mobile App releases deployed on Android and iOS devices.
The best way to avoid contaminating your mobile device with viruses and malware is to ALWAYS download apps directly from official, verified app sources (such as Google’s Play Store, Apple’s App Store, and Huawei’s App Gallery), after confirming the publishers and checking the user reviews.
Android Phones and Tablets (With GMS)
For smartphones and tablets with access to Google Mobile Services (GMS), the OPSWAT Mobile App is available directly from Google Play, Here.
Huawei Android Phones and Tablets (Without GMS)
This method is not recommended, as it has not yet been tested by the OPSWAT team.
GSpace is an Huawei App Gallery verified solution that offers Huawei users, who’s device’s are subject to U.S. - China trade restrictions, the option to download, install and use GMS and Google apps within a sandbox-like environment.
While the OPSWAT Mobile App is able to access all phone data and function within this environment, the Cloud Scan feature is severely limited, as it is only able to access and scan apps that are also nested within Gspace.
- For Huawei smartphones and tablets without access to Google Mobile Services (GMS), users have the option to download Gspace from the Huawei App Gallery, Here.
- Once Gspace is installed on the mobile device, users will have access to GMS, and will be able to download Google Play Store within the confines of Gspace’s sandbox-like environment.
- Thereafter, users can open Google Play within Gspace, and download the OPSWAT Mobile App Here.
- Alternatively, once Gspace is installed, users can use Google Play’s remote install feature to install the The OPSWAT Mobile App directly into GSpace via another device, such as a desktop PC, Here, as illustrated below.
