In order to achieve access control compatibility, OPSWAT developed a process with many anti-malware and disk encryption vendors through which they submit their applications prior to their official release. This gives OPSWAT enough time to integrate and test them. Many vendors have found our process to be valuable. As of September 2019, OPSWAT supports more than 2,300 application versions using this process.

For each category of anti-malware and encryption products, there are distinct tests to verify compatibility with access control solutions. OPSWAT installs products and continuously performs the tests identified in the table below on prevalent operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac.
