Summary

OSPWAT is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to work out of our Northern Ireland office. You will be responsible for responding to inbound marketing leads as well as generate net new qualified leads through outbound prospecting for the sales organization. Our team is growing and looking for that next person to bring not only a strong action-oriented attitude, but someone who will contribute to the next level of our success.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Sales Development Rep at OSPWAT, your main objective is to get prospective customers excited about what we’re doing and schedule product demonstrations for them with our Account Executives. You will be an integral part of helping the company build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and grow its revenue.

  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to qualified hand-offs to sales
  • Create target prospects lists
  • Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
  • Identify key players and strategic accounts, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Set appointments for the OPSWAT sales team when a lead becomes qualified
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Drive attendance for webinars and set meetings for conferences
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Ensure successful follow-up throughout the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application


What We Need From You

  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, LinkedIn, Hubspot
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by OPSWAT
  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of the team without necessarily taking the lead
  • Drive, Grit, Team Orientation: strong desire to compete and win

It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • SDR / BDR experience with B2B tech products or services
  • Bilingual (English/German/French) is preferred
  • Strong passion for excellence and a high level of initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional business presence and acumen
