Corporate Marketing Manger

San Francisco, CA

The Corporate Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing programs around brand and design, corporate communications, and events and webinars for OPSWAT’s B2B cyber security business. This person will play a key role to help the company grow and achieve its business objectives. The candidate must be a self-starter, agile team player, and able to scale in a fast-growing, rapidly changing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Brand and Design
    • Ensure brand message is consistent, timely, and relevant
    • Use your strong sense of design to guide creative and design deliveries
  • Corporate Communications
    • Manage all corporate communications functions, including: asset creation, website and blog content, copywriting, public and analyst relations, internal communications, award submissions, and speaking opportunities
    • Develop high-quality written materials that convey corporate and product messages for press releases, blogs, editorials, infographics and other communications
    • Prioritize media opportunities and work with internal thought leaders to develop talking points, presentations, and other supporting material 
    • Coordinate all external media communications to promote the company and measure progress using share of voice metrics
  • Events and Webinars
    • Coordinate with sales and executive team to create a global event calendar that supports a high-quality lead intake and positions OPSWAT as an industry thought leader
    • Procure conference and seminar logistics and track lead conversion ROI of event participation 
  • Leadership
    • Serve as the communications, public relations, and brand counselor to the rest of the company
    • Measure, report and present to senior management the effectiveness of corporate marketing programs and events
    • Build a small corporate marketing team and establish a metrics- and ROI-driven culture 
    • Collaborate with product, digital, automation, and social marketing leaders
    • Manage, measure and optimize external vendor relationships 
    • Manage corporate marketing budget 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience in technology with at least 5 years of building and managing corporate communications programs
  • Proven track record of collaboration with marketing and sales teams to drive results 
  • Experience in evaluating, selecting and managing outside vendors that contribute to marketing programs  
  • Ability to influence others and work with executives 
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams 
  • Expert written and oral communications 
  • Previous Security industry experience is a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA is a plus)
