Chief Financial Officer

Tampa, FL

We are looking for an experienced CFO to help oversee operations related to finance, accounting, and profit planning and analysis, as well as manage the Company's financial and tax strategies. You will be in charge of a global team of enthusiastic professionals. Maintaining and evolving financial measures of the business will be key to the success of this role. The qualified candidate for this position is passionate for their profession and have great knowledge for financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee financial and accounting operations, profit planning, and financial policies and procedures
  • Build financial KPIs and P&L reports to measure growth of the business and drive profitability
  • Responsible for overall management of the financial reporting to key stakeholders and investors
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, build strategic models, and develop recommendations to help make informed business decisions
  • Implement and lead the annual budgeting and planning process
  • Understand key drivers for the business and support capital planning and resource allocation
  • Maintain and continue to improve upon current internal controls, policies and infrastructure to scale with the business
  • Ad-hoc strategy and finance projects to support executive decision making

What We Need From You

  • Proven experience as an executive leader in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Ten or more years of Finance and/or Accounting experience in a high-tech and global company with several wholly-owned subsidiaries,
  • with at least six years in an enterprise-selling model
  • Experience with corporate governance
  • Experience in the cyber security market and experience in revenue accounting for software is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent writing and messaging skills
  • Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow
  • An analytical bias to interpret results and a technical mindset to work in a highly technical industry
  • Experience building and managing teams
  • Driven and self-motivated with high degree of integrity
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
  • Must have a proven track record of being proactive, collaborative, and hands-on
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate

It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • Experience with Oracle/NetSuite and Salesforce.com systems
  • Strong written, editing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative with a deep sense of ownership and accountability
  • Easily builds business partnerships and inspires team members
