Channel Account Manager, Americas (San Francisco)

OPSWAT is searching for Channel Account Managers to join our growing Channel Sales teams in North and South America. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with a wide variety of distributors, resellers, and integrators. Fundamental duties may include but not be limited to training, supporting, and motivating a list of channel partners in the assigned territory; generating demand through partner events and programs, and; providing feedback on market trends and pricing. Additionally, the channel account managers should be able to execute agreements, manage conflicts, and work closely to ensure alignment between and internal stakeholders within the global OPSWAT channel community.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build positive working relationships with channel partners to maximize product sales within customer base.
  • Manage existing partners and recruit new partners for sales growth.
  • Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Provide product training to partners and inform them about complimentary services offered.
  • Resolve partner related issues and sales conflicts in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and review sales proposals with partners.
  • Develop partner specific sales and marketing plans to increase marketing and selling efforts.
  • Manage daily sales activities with partners to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop joint business plan to mutually agree with business objectives.
  • Perform business reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Manage sales activities and maintain sales records and reports.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Confident conversationalist, whether in-person, on the phone or via web meetings.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Capable of understanding reseller needs and requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Acute listening skills and a desire to provide quality service and satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel for company business events.
  • Appreciation of the challenges faced by IT security professionals and a desire to provide solutions.

It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • CRM experience.
  • Experience in network security, email security, endpoint security, cross domain, forensics, incident response or malware analysis solutions.
  • Command of another language other than English.
