Add-ons

In addition to the standard Metascan features included with each package, the following components and services can be added to enhance your solution. Choose from these add-ons to make sure your Metascan implementation is perfectly suited to your organization’s needs.

Additional Engines

After selecting from the Metascan Package Options, you can choose to integrate additional engines to enhance your solution. Metascan is compatible with many different scanning engines from:

Evaluate Metascan

These scanning engines can be integrated to your Metascan solution by your team, following the instructions in our knowledge base, or by OPSWAT’s Professional Services team, as described below.

Metascan Remote Clients

Each Metascan package allows one remote connection to your Metascan server. Add any number of Remote Clients to allow additional devices to interact with your Metascan server.

For example, when implementing a file scanning solution, Remote Clients are needed for each server that will be sending files to Metascan. If you have nine employees who send their files to your Metascan server remotely for scanning, you will need a total of nine Remote Clients.

Professional Services

OPSWAT’s Professional Services team is ready to assist with your Metascan implementation to get your scanning solution up and running quickly and smoothly. Let us help you with:

  • Integrating previously licensed engines - If you have current licenses for an engine that you would like to add to your multi-scanning solution, we can help you integrate that engine to ensure optimal scanning performance.
  • Integrating additional engines - If you decide to purchase licenses to add an additional engine to your Metascan package, our team can perform the integration process for you to eliminate work for your busy teams.
  • Remote sessions - Our team is available to help troubleshoot issues that you encounter during the implementation process. Ask for a remote session so that we can guide you through implementation.
  • Complete implementation - Pressed for resources? We can implement Metascan for you to enable you to utilize your multi-scanning solution sooner.

Extended Support

We know that software problems don’t always occur within our standard customer support hours Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PST. With the Extended Support Program, our trained technical support professionals are available to address your critical and technical emergency situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the event of an after-hours severity 1 situation, a member of our team will investigate and provide technical guidance in order to deliver timely and effective solutions.
