Press Release:
OPSWAT launches VPNGuard client for Microsoft, Check Point VPNs
New client integrity solution automatically patches
and scans remote access users
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - 8 June 2004 - OPSWAT, Inc., a leading
provider of remote access security tools, announced the launch of
VPNGuard, its new network client integrity solution.
VPNGuard lets network administrators enforce that each
and every endpoint conforms to organization requirements for
antivirus, Microsoft Windows patches, browser security, and much
more. VPNGuard saves time and effort by actively patching insecure
systems and launching antivirus scans before a user is allowed
access to the network.
"Today, remote access users are one of the biggest VPN
vulnerabilities, bringing in viruses, trojans, and all kinds of
malware," said OPSWAT CEO Benny Czarny. "With VPNGuard, you can
block unpatched users, automatically repair their systems, and let
them in only when they are fully scanned and patched."
OPSWAT VPNGuard currently supports Check Point and Microsoft VPN
servers. The product also supports more antivirus applications than
any other desktop security product, including McAfee, Norton, Trend Micro, Sophos,
and many others. Pricing for VPNGuard starts at $1,250 for 25
desktop users.
