Management Team

Benny Czarny founded OPSWAT Inc. in 2002 to offer a unique, market-driven approach to security application design and development.  Benny has over 18 years experience in successfully identifying market needs and building, marketing and selling innovative products and solutions.  Prior to founding OPSWAT, Benny held technical leadership positions at NetManage, Netect and BindView. Benny earned a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Technion Institute in Haifa Israel and served as a lieutenant in the Israeli Defense Force.

Tom joined OPSWAT in 2004 and manages the company's sales, business development and marketing activities.  Tom brings expertise in negotiating transactions with and managing programs for vendors, customers and alliance partners.  Prior to joining OPSWAT, Tom practiced law and held management positions in sales, marketing and business development at Apple Computer, CNET Networks and GreenBorder Technologies.  Tom earned a bachelors degree from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Toshit joined OPSWAT in 2003 and manages the company's R&D,   Toshit brings expertise in design, development and R&D Processes.  Prior to joining OPSWAT, Toshit held R&D positions in Teknovus and Summit Networks, Toshit earned a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California Davis.

Oren Shnitzer completed his first and second degree at the Technion Institute of Technology. During his second degree studies he researched areas of transductive learning and advanced AI technologies. In the past he has worked at companies such as Microsoft, Topio, and Netmanage. His work experience includes developing network security, XML processing, and disaster recovery applications.
